Hello again,
Here are a few of my top picks for what I have been loving in July.
Beauty
A good friend asked for a good mid coverage foundation recommendation this month and I immediately thought of Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua which is a gorgeous, illuminating, lightweight foundation which gives a brilliant coverage but looks completely natural too. I wear it almost daily at the mo so deffo a top pick.
Hair
This month has been an EXTREMELY bold month for me in terms of hair. As a hair dye virgin, I really took the bull by the horns with my new YOLO attitude (more about that in a later post) this month and did an at home ombre kit. In fact I did it twice. I was a bit hesitant the first time and decided to wash it off before the allotted time so I went back in a couple of days later and really went to town. I’ve been to the hairdressers since and she didn’t completely laugh in my face which I always nice! I am SO pleased with the results and saved myself a tidy sum at the hair salon. I used the Loreal Wild Ombre Effects 01 kit and will do a full review on it if ya fancy?
Clothing
Nothing really new this month but I have been enjoying slipping back into my work clothes after returning from maternity leave (more about that in my upcoming Mini Series). A great wave of panic ensued when I thought about zipping up those work dresses but luckily all that running about after The Babe has caused me to drop a few pounds and I may be bold enough to say that they fit better than before.
Baby
For this month it has to be the Next sale! There were some absolute gems in the sale which I had been eyeing up for a while. I have a Next account so I was up bright and early one Thursday morning with my VIP slot securing some cute pieces for The Babe.
TV
For a little light relief, we have been loving Modern Family. I really thought I was going to hate it when some friends recommended it as I’m not a major fan of the cheesy American sit coms, but it is brilliant for some quick laughs and easy watching. The absolute gem of a character is Cam with his brilliant facial expressions and quick one liners.
Music
For personal reasons, music has caused a great wave of emotions for me this month. In particular ‘The Best of Fleetwood Mac’. It has so many songs that you didn’t realise they sang and is perfect for blasting out in the car and having a good old sing song to.
Fitness
The gym! We debated for a long while about joining a local health club. It is amazing; a member’s only pool, a leisure pool with slides, classes, lux changing rooms, a free crèche and just a ooze of luxury and calm. Yes, it is eye wateringly expensive but we convinced ourselves it would be life changing, and in some ways it has been. I am enjoying my unique training programme whilst knowing The Babe is being well looked after and having fun. We are enjoying as a family taking The Babe swimming and to the soft play area. Whilst Mr B is enjoying early morning swims and late night weight training.

Family. As a collective, we've been through some tough times of late, so just hanging out, laughing and having good times are all a brilliant favourite of mine.
