Hello again,
Last week I spoke about my weekly skincare routine and I thought today I would complete the chat with my morning skincare routine.
I suppose it's a pretty simple one with; cleanse, tone and moisturise.
Cleanse
I usually cleanse in the shower with a nice 'foamy' face cleanser. I have been loving the nSpa Deep Cleansing Face Wash which you can pick up from Asda. I love the scent of this stuff. I have just finished up the No7 Beautiful Skin Melting Gel Cleanser which also has a beautiful scent but I didn't feel like it cleansed just deep enough for me.
Tone
I have just finished up a sample of the Benefit Moisture Prep Toning Lotion which is a lovely cooling toner which is gentle enough for the day time. However, my main toner squeeze for the day is the Caudalie Beauty Elixir. This genuinely smells like a spa however seeing as though there is ALOT of hype around this, I'm not in love and not sure I'll be repurchasing at the high price point.
Moisturise
Depending on the amount of make up I am planning to wear that day, I have two picks for day moisturiser. I am speedily using up a sample of the Verso Day Cream with Retinal 8 - I bloody love this stuff! I am trying to saviour every last bit as a repurchase is not cheap! It sits perfectly under make up and is a great everyday moisturiser. For days where I am not applying much of the old slap, I tend to stick to a cheaper, thicker day cream like the Nivea Daily Essentials Oil Free Moisturising Day Cream. It is a lovely, cooling cream which absorbs quickly and is really refreshing.
For eye cream, if I have been up in the night with the babe, I relish rolling the Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll-on all over the eye area for a cooling effect. If I've been a lucky Mummy, I opt for the Benefit It's Potent Eye Cream for a lovely thick treat.
What are your favourite day time skincare products? Is there anything I should try?
