Hello again,
Beauty
Aside from the beautiful Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette, which I feel I cannot go on about anymore than I already have (except in my upcoming review post), I have been loving the Nars Sheer Glow foundation. That paired with the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer.....well, I like it alot! Both, I accept, are pretty pricey but super pretty and add a touch of brightness in the dark winter months.
Hair
I admit that I am pretty picky about shampoo choices. I have the world's weirdest hair in terms of grease, frizz, itchy scalp and curl. So the perfect shower hair care is a balance not to be messed with. However, this month I discovered the new Dove Dry Oil range. I first tried the conditioner but then jumped in with both feet by purchasing the shampoo. I love how soft and shiny it makes my hair and not a drop of grease in sight.
Clothing
I may have been converted to hareem pants this month. I picked up two pairs from Next which were both £22 and I'm basically living in them.
They are so bloody comfortable and I suddenly thought to myself why I am spending the majority of the day feeling uncomfortable in jeans, desperate to change into sweat pants the minute I get home when there is a much comfier offering out there? (Perhaps it's a sign I've been on maternity leave too long).

Baby
I got a little excited this month, I must warn you. This of course stemmed from the fact that The Babe is in 9-12 month clothes which simply opens up a whole world of opportunities. I was let loose in Primark earlier in the month when I suddenly realised this fact. Pair this with the majority of shops releasing their spring collections, and it, at times, was too much to handle. I picked up a few (alot) bits from Primark for our summer holiday and dear god they are so cute....perhaps I'll do a haul soon. But I must issue a word of warning - DO NOT go in Next if you have a baby. The clothes are honestly too cute. I may have opened a Next account in pursuit of a VIP summer sale slot this month. I foresee bad things.
TV
Since mourning the fact that Broadchurch has now finished, I have been a little stuck for things to enjoy on the old box. Thank the Lord that KUWTK is back on our screens. I know, I know it's absolute rubbish but there is nothing better than a TV show where you literally do not have to think. Not one bit.
Music
I have been particularly enjoying the Now That's What I Call The 90's through the airwaves this month. I have also been loving listening to Capital Radio on our very fancy Robert's kitchen radio (housewarming gift) whilst feeding the babe and cooking dinner - not at the same time!
Fitness
I did start this before January but I really feel I have made some progress with this this month, and that is the NHS's 'Couch to 5k' app. It's a really brilliant app with you can play your usual (90's) music through and every so often a lovely lady pipes up and tells you what to do. It is designed to get you to be able to run 5k in 9 weeks from literally sitting on your couch doing nothing. Each week has 3 runs to complete and it is based on interval training. Therefore, the lady (who's name escapes me) tells you when to run and walk. I am currently on run 2 of week 4 and really enjoying seeing my stamina build up. It is free, friendly and f-ing simple. (Would you like me to do a full review?)
Random
My piano! I used to have lessons when I was little and then as I approached my A levels, I had little time for practice and so quit. We recently re-invested in a piano in our household and I love it! I am really enjoying getting back into it again and I hope The Babe will want to learn one day too.
What have you been loving this month?
Speak soon,
L xx
