Hello again,
As part of a Cult Beauty Goody Bag, I came across the Verso range and fell in love. I so sparingly used the sample size I had of the Verso Day Cream and adored the way it sank into my sink and was the perfect base for my make up.
When a too-good-to-be-true offer rolled around on the aforementioned Cult Beauty and I decided I was going to take the brown discolouration around my eyes seriously, I invested in the Day Cream and Super Eye Serum duo wholeheartedly.
Bearing in mind my deep rooted love for the day cream before I went super sized, I have to say I've been a little bit disappointed with the product. It seems a little 'greasy' for my skin. Whereas before it beautifully sank into the skin and I had not one once of grease creeping it's way through my foundation base, now I find myself staring in the office bathroom mirrors in horror half way through the day at the grease ball looking back at me. I don't know whether it'd because I've simply got more of it now and I'm using it less sparingly than when I had a sample size and was desperate for it to never end.
I want to say that the eye cream is miraculous and that all the dark discolouration I have around my eyes has disappeared but unfortunately I am not able. I have noticed a little change and I have to hold my hands up that I haven't really given the little guy a fair and fighting chance because I haven't been using it every day and night like instructed. I will endeavour to do this and report back.
Both products are eye wateringly pricey and I'm not sure right now whether I would invest again. I had such high hopes for these two products and unfortunately they haven't lived up to my expectations.
Do not get me wrong, they are beautiful products and create a great base overall. I'm thinking perhaps I'm not using them right or they are not right for my skin?
A word of warning the eye cream has a bit of a sting in it's tail. I think it's due to the retinal but after application you can really feel it going to work on the skin with quite a kick. Perhaps not one for the faint hearted.
Have you tried the Verso range? How did they work out for you?
