Weekly Round Up #1

Hello again,

What have you been up to this week I hear you cry?

Sunday: My Dad was visiting for the weekend for his birthday celebrations so Sunday morning saw us having a lazy breakfast and my Grandparents visiting for a little while.
Followed by a car collection relay to pick up the cars from the night before and then waving goodbye to my Dad and his girlfriend. We then walked the dog (dog sitting FTW) and then did a good old food shop before Mr B cooked up a Sunday Roast storm in the kitchen whilst the Babe and I played in the lounge watching Home Alone 2 (?!). My Mum joined us for the roast after her weekend away and we shared our weekend details and stories.
Monday: As mentioned in my previous post, Mr B and I started our all singing, all dancing lifestyle on Monday so as it was my day off with the Babe, I went to the gym whilst she enjoyed herself in the free Crèche. We then headed home for nap time and ironing chores. We then walked my Mum's dog and ran some errands in town with picking up some ordered Christmas gifts. An evening of the dinner, bath and bed routine and preparing for the week ahead.
Tuesday: Back to work and nursery for the Babe and I. A busy day filled with meetings and playing in shaving foam (obviously the latter was for the Babe!) and then home for a healthy dinner and bed.
Wednesday: Slept in a little in the morning so the day got off to a rushed start but managed to drop the Babe off at my Mum's without a hitch and then onto work for a screen staring day. Mr B was on baby duty as I had my creative writing class at the local college. The theme for the week was 'Historical Writing' which I found pretty interesting. I thought about how amazing it would be to be a biography writer - writing up people's stories.
Thursday: A more fun work day and nursery day for the Babe following by household chores and dinner, bath and bed. We all collapsed in a heap.
Friday: I was off with the Babe again so I hit the gym again and then home for nap time and ironing. Mr B came home early so we had a spot of lunch and then the Babe and I visited a friend's new house which was lovely. We put the Babe to bed and ordered a take out.
Saturday: The Babe decided she'd quite like to get up at 4:30 am so by 6am Mr B and I were rearranging the living room furniture - as you do. We had a bit of a lazy morning followed by lunch and wander through a local town. We then visited my Grandparents before we headed home for me to get ready for a girl's night out. Four of us tried a local restaurant where you can take your own booze! Perfect. Lots of laughs, cocktails and dancing with friends.

Speak soon,

L xxx
