Hello again,
Sunday : Well after my night out with the girls on Saturday night, I was feeling a little worse for wear on Sunday. Not helped by another 4:30am get up from the The Babe. Mr B had offered to help someone move so he was off early doors to lend a hand. The Babe and I had a lazy morning playing and after nap time we headed over to my Mums to help her load some things in the car for the tip. We then went for some much needed lunch. In the afternoon, I helped my Mum set up her iPhone and then picked up Mr B from the pub after a much needed, hard earned pint. The day ended with a family meal with my Grandparents.
Monday : A day off with the Babe started with our local health club and the Babe in the crèche whilst I typed in the Starbucks. We then headed home for nap time and chore time. We then walked the dog (in the bitter cold), did the food shop and then played at home.
Tuesday : A pretty stressful day with the Babe being up in the night with a temperature and then thinking I couldn't possibly take any more time off work so risking it by putting her in nursery. Inevitably we got a call around 4ish, asking for her to be picked up because she had a temp. Mr B collected her and I worked a bit later followed by dinner and bed.
Wednesday : A doctors appointment in the morning for me as I thought I had a dreaded returning ailment however it turned out to be a pulled muscle. Oddly, I practically skipped out of the surgery. Hurried over to work to make up the hours and then headed to my writing course in the evening.
Thursday : A long and busy day at work and nursery for The Babe then a good friend came over for some dinner and we chatted and tried to cheer up the gloomy weather.
Friday : An unexpected visit to nursery for The Babe as my Mum and I were travelling most of the day to visit a relative who was having pretty major surgery. We arrived home about 9:30pm and collapsed into bed.
Saturday : A lazy morning of Christmas present wrapping and playing in the lounge. Mr B was playing rugby in the afternoon so The Babe and I met a friend for lunch and then walked the dogs (mostly in the rain). We then had friends over for a take away and trashy TV.
